My First New York Fashion Week Recap & Experience 2018

It’s every fashionistas dream to attend fashion week and man oh man it came true for me this year. Ahhh literally just pinch me, I am still in awe that I attended New York Fashion Week this past weekend. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to attend and to have experienced it with one of my best friends. It really goes to show you that you can achieve any dream you put your mind to. It just takes hard work, dedication and it can happen!

I felt such an incredible high that I just can’t explain, kinda like when I went skydiving. Oh my god, the adrenaline rush from being there watching the runway shows in person was phenomenal. Never in a million years did I think I would ever get to experience this. NYFW left me with so many amazing memories which is why I wanted to document this experience and hopefully give you some inspiration as well.

Of course I had to share my outfits that I wore to each event. I was so stressed out about what I was going to wear, which was expected. I wanted to look my best but still stay true to my style so I decided to keep my looks simple paired with statement pieces.

What I learned:

-Stay organized

NYC is very hectic which can be so overwhelming, so staying organized is a MUST! I’m a huge planner so it tremendously kept us on track and not wasting a single minute.

-Pack a lot of clothes and shoes

Hello it’s NYFW!!! If you have the space for it definitely go for it, you need options.

-Schedule time to eat

With events being back to back, make sure to eat something. Worst feeling ever is to be HANGRY!!!

-Secure transportation time

Give yourself a lot of time to get to places, especially with NYC traffic. We didn’t make it to one of the presentations because of it.  

Lastly, as chaotic as it can be- have fun and take lots of photos and videos!
