LIFE UPDATE, BLOGIVERSARY & HOW TO STYLE A LEOPARD PRINTED COAT

Hey my loves, I hope you all had an amazing holiday! I can’t believe it’s 2019! I’d have to say 2018 was such a great year with a few little obstacles. I wanted to share a few highlights from this past year. I attended New York Fashion Week for the first time with my bestie, a dream come true!! I married my best friend in May and we traveled to Barcelona for our honeymoon, so much fun! I started a new job at one of the big hospitals here in Boston. In October my brother got married which was so exciting and beautiful. There were so many fun and amazing memories with family and friends in 2018. I also reached a lot of my personal and professional goals that I set for myself, so so happy about that! Blogging and Instagram has been so rewarding this past year with so many amazing opportunities that came my way. Thank you all for continuously supporting me, I’m forever grateful for you all!! Today marks 3 years of blogging! I’m so excited to create and share so much more with you all this year.

My blog is my little happy space, where I keep it positive and inspiring but I also want to keep it real and relatable. I’m not one to share my personal struggles but I’m sure there’s someone out there that may be going through something similar and you know what everything will be okay. I wanted to share this quote that really spoke to me- “You can't change someone who doesn't see an issue with their actions”. If you personally know me you’ll know I always go above and beyond for everyone in my life whether you’re a family member, a friend, a co-worker etc. It’s who I am, I am just a genuinely kind hearted positive person. Unfortunately some people’s true colors came out and were just down right toxic. It took me awhile to accept the fact that some people are just not meant to be in your life and that is perfectly okay. I’ve learned to put myself first and let go of all that toxic negativity. I can honestly say I truly feel at peace. Letting go and moving forward is the best decision I have made. I’ve learned to invest my time in people who invest their time in me, time is way too precious!

Who else is ecstatic to start a new fresh year with a new mindset and goals?! 2018 was a year full of change and growth. I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in stored for me. I’m going to create my 2019 goals right after this post, so excited! I mentioned in a few posts back about my favorite book “The Secret”, I for sure will be manifesting in 2019. It truly works and was such a game changer for me in 2017-2018. I truly believe you can have everything you want, work hard and it will happen!

Alright this post is getting quite long but before I wrap it up, how fab is this leopard coat I’m wearing?! I don’t know about you but every time I wear leopard I feel so fierce!! I thought it would be the perfect look to kick off 2019 with. Leopard print paired with hints of red has got to be one of my favorite combos.
