Pastels & Life Update

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend. The weather is just perfect today- sunny with a nice breeze. It was so humid yesterday which was so gross. This look just puts a smile on my face, it just screams spring with the mixture of pastel colors. Pastel colors are so dreamy, soft, romantic and the perfect antidote to our daily lives, don't you think? Can you believe I scored this gorgeous mint blue duster for $7 and this cute little lilac bag was $11. Love finding good deals!!

I wanted to share a little life update. The past few months have been non stop with our wedding and our honeymoon but in between all of that I accepted a new job. It has been quite overwhelming but closing a chapter and starting a new one is so exciting! I started my new job last week and so far so good. In other news, I just hit 50k followers on Instagram which is huge. Thanks everyone for all the support, you all rock!! I get asked a lot on how to have a successful blog and Instagram and my honest advice is to just work hard, be consistent and truly believe in yourself. We can all admit, we get caught up comparing ourselves to others which can get discouraging but at the end of the day you need to be true to who you are and you will shine!

I also wanted to share a book that has changed my life this year “The Secret”. Not sure why it took me this long to read it, I wish I read it sooner. This is hands down a life changing book and I see why it has sold millions and millions of copies around the world. The law of attraction is powerful, it really works if you apply and believe. I've been a few situations the past few months and I started manifesting and things ending up working itself out. I have always been a positive person but this book has made me more positive in a better way for sure. Have you read it?

P.S. Did you notice the blog has a new name?! I decided with all these new exciting changes happening in my life it was appropriate for a change with the blog and Instagram. I feel that "Styling with Nina" is a better fit. Let me know what you think! xx
