HOW TO STYLE A SATIN SKIRT & LAST WEEKS RECAP

9.01.2019

I'm sure you have seen satin skirts trending for months now. I don't see it go anywhere any time soon. I personally am adding it to my wardrobe as a staple piece. I just love how versatile it is. Ya'll know much I love pieces that can be worn every season. I was going for a casual but dressy look so I styled it with a graphic tee and pair it with some strappy nude heels. I would wear this look again and throw on a pair of white sneakers for a more laid back look. I can't wait to style it in the colder months with some sweaters and boots. Would love to hear if your loving satin skirts.

I wanted to fill you guys in on a little recap of last week, A LOT happened! I started a new position as Program Coordinator in one of the hospitals in the city. Just a little work background- In the past few years I've been having a difficult time with finding a job that is a good fit. Anyone going through that or has in the past? Not fun at all! I'm crossing my fingers that this one will work out. I won't lie my first week was extremely stressful because there was no overlap of anyone training me so I've been literally on my own trying to figure things out with some dinky notes that the last person left behind. Low key inside I was panicking because I was asked to do a bunch of things with little to no information but I am being hopeful that in a few months I will learn what I need to do to help run this program. Wish me luck!!

On Friday Keven's baby sister got married. Although I didn't get to attend the ceremony in the morning due to my new job I was luckily able to leave 2 hours early to rush home get ready and make it to their celebration in the evening. We had so much fun at their wedding! She looked so beautiful. I am beyond happy for them and wish them so much love and happiness.

I also had the honor of attending a Too Faced beauty event. When they emailed me asking if I wanted to attend I couldn't believe it. I always see these huge youtubers and bloggers attend these type of events and didn't think I would ever have the opportunity to. Most of these events are usually in LA or NYC but it was nice to hear from the Too Faced team that they are making the effort to go to different cities and luckily Boston was one on the list this year.  I had so much fun at this event and got to meet a few other local bloggers/vloggers. I did want to share that I wasn't able to bring a plus one so attending alone was extremely nerve wracking for me. Anyone else feel the same? Luckily I met a new friend named Jill and we just clicked. She is such a down to earth gorgeous girl and such a talented makeup artist. Also how ironic that she lives in my hometown in the suburbs. The event was a celebration for the BORN THIS WAY complexion line which was at my favorite spot Tatte Bakery & Cafe. We were able to grab unlimited delicious pastries and matcha.  The Too Faced team color matched all of us for the foundation, concealer and powder. I loved chatting with the Too Faced team, they are the sweetest!
Thank you so so much Too Faced for having me!!!

Have a great week babes xo

  26. A satin is a fashion staple in most women's wardrobes. When the pleated versions were introduced, the fresh look created a renewed spark of interest among women as the added flair transforms the skirts into a different level, adding character and life to it.

  50. One of the richest men in the World, Warren Buffet has remarked that marriage will be one of the most important decisions of any young individual’s life. A right spouse helps an individual to grow and flourish. It starts with understanding what to look for in a life partner. It is a long term decision so you must give it proper thought.
As easy as it may seem it can be very confusing to choose your life partner. As an individual you need to know what you expect from a life partner. So, if you are trying to figure out how to pick your life partner or things to look for in a partner below are 5 recommendations to consider while choosing a life partner on Info matrimonial sites .
    1) Find the right Marathi matrimonial site:
First of all, you should research a bit about Tamil Matrimony There are many sites, but a lot of them do not have a large data base of suitable brides/ grooms. You need one which verifies details of all candidates. This is the most important step. Another point to note - choose a site that is easy to use, as your parents will be using it regularly.
    2) Never judge a book by its cover:
A person may be good looking, but what do they truly hold in their hearts? Basically people make a good looking profile, to attract many candidates, but a person can’t be judged on it’s basis. Every person who looks attractive does not necessarily match your wavelength. So be careful in choosing the right partner and don’t judge someone just by their looks.
    3) Research the person you are connecting with:
One of the easiest ways of confirming if a profile is real or fake is checking their profile on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn or any other social media. If you find the profile picture and the data relevant then go for it and start connecting. Good info matrimonial sites always verify these details for you. Muslim Matrimony
    4) Ask the right questions about the other person:
One of the best ways to clear any misunderstanding is by asking questions that are bothering you. Start with the basic questions and then go ahead with your future plans. Just make sure the questions that you are asking are relevant to the other person and he/ she is comfortable to answer those.
    5) Give your complete attention
Giving your time to someone you are interested in, is the best way to show your interest in them. Just make them realize what they mean to you. In today’s world the biggest gift anyone can give someone is time. Just make a schedule of chatting so that your daily routine will be smooth and you can get to know the other person well and take a better decision. Christian Matrimony
