BIRTHDAY WEEKEND RECAP & FOUR IMPORTANT THINGS I'VE LEARNED

Hello my loves! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. We had a great time with our families. I love family time and of course the delicious spread of food, yum! My birthday was the day after Thanksgiving this year, November 29th. This year I celebrated my 34th birthday. Wow I can't believe I'm saying this on here! I am not one to be embarrassed by my age, I honestly don't feel it. Anyone else feel like that?! I still feel like I'm in my 20's. My husband and I always joke around FOREVER21 haha! 

I've had an amazing birthday celebrating so far! We had a little stay cation in the city which is something I always look forward too. We had dinner, walked around and just enjoyed each others company. We have plans tonight with friends and tomorrow with my family. I'm super grateful for all the love. Spending time with all the special people in my life is the best gift anyone could ever give me. I also wanted to say a huge thank you for all the birthday wishes on my Instagram. You all are sooooooo amazing!!

I wanted to share FOUR important things that I've learned over the years:

1. SELF LOVE

You love everyone in your life but you have to love yourself too! Invest in yourself mentally and physically this will boost your self confidence. Meditate, workout, go get your nails done or go to the spa whatever it is make time for yourself. Slow down and be present and mindful.

2. BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF

Strive to be the best version of yourself. We all get inspiration from other people but please don't go down that rabbit hole of comparing yourself to others. We are all different and unique in our own way. Everyday is a chance to start over, to do better and be better.

3. YOU CANNOT CHANGE PEOPLE

Most of my life I tried to control the outcome of friendships, work and family drama. I've realized that it's completely out of my hands. You cannot change people, they are who they are. It comes to the point where it's just honestly a complete waste of time to keep trying. I've learned to let them go and have a mind set of "It is, what it is" and it's their loss.

4. WORK HARD

If you want something work hard for it because things won't just fall on your lap. There are endless of opportunities out there but you have to make it happen. Life is what you make it, simple as that and when things fall into place it's the best feeling!

With that being said, 33 you were a tough year but cheers to 34!
