TRAVEL DIARY: NEW YORK CITY 2021

7.04.2021

So excited to share this post. First vacation of the year and we went to New York City! Keven and I absolutely love NYC. It felt so so good to be in the city. One of the best cities to explore, eat and shop! We were there for two full days and we literally walked until we dropped lol Can you guess how many steps we did- 65k crazy right?! We were all over the city- Soho, Time Square, Upper West side, Chinatown, Little Italy, Hudson Yards, Lower East Side Midtown East, and Midtown West . The weather was great too, sunny but not too hot and their was a breeze from time to time. It made our vacation so much more enjoyable since we were walking everywhere. We stayed at the Nomo Soho hotel which was so nice. The entry way outside was my favorite. I loved the greenery and how pretty it was during the day and night.

Prior to going to NYC we did a bunch of research on places to eat. We're big foodies so finding delicious places to eat and snacks were a must. Of course we have some favorite places that we go to often just because it's that good! In order for us to try/eat at a lot of places we usually share things especially during the day.

Here are some of the places we ate at that I highly recommend:

Prince Street Pizza- My favorite pizza place ever! We've been here a few times and it's always so darn yummy. Our go to is the sicilian pepperoni. Everything about it is so delicious. I wish I could have a slice right now!

Sweet Rehab- This place was insane. We had the Le Miel which was a crunchy almond dough with soft pistachio biscuit inside, topped with lightly sweetened honey orange blossom cream, whipped honey and honey comb and sprinkled with orange zest. It's a luxurious French pastry shop in SoHo. Each dessert is handcrafted by a pastry chef while you wait. Worth the wait and the price too!

Clinton Street Baking Company & Restaurant- Hands down our favorite breakfast place. We've been here quite a few times. They never disappoint, everything is just absolutely delicious. Make sure to book reservations.

Balthazar- If your looking for a french meal come here. This place was amazing! It honestly gave me all the Paris feels. The steak and frites gave me a flash back of when we had it in Paris. Perfect place for date night. We loved sitting outside and people watching.

Maman- We didn't have a chance to sit down for breakfast but we I grabbed the strawberry rhubarb croissant bun which was insane and Keven grabbed a croissant breakfast sandwich. We will definitely will come back for brunch.

Love Korean BBQ- This was a random place we went to for dinner. Korean BBQ just sounded yummy and it was. The only thing I was disappointed about was that we couldn't cook the food ourselves but other than that it was great.

Levain Bakery- Know for their massive cookies and they were! Definitely worth a try.

NY Pizza Suprema- This pizza joint was a random find. Keven wanted a traditional thin NY style pizza. and this place was so good. They had so many types of pizza and the owner and staff were so friendly. Oh best part was that they have a pretty big seating for you to sit down and enjoy your pizza which is so rare in NYC.

Chinatown ice cream factory- They are very known for their ice cream- ton's of flavors to choose from. There's are always lines and totally worth the wait. Oh and it's cash only.

Alimama- I got the Lychee Rose and one of their mochi strawberry donuts. The donut was good and the texture was chewy, just like mochi! The drink was also pretty good.

I didn't get a chance to shoot my outfits but luckily I was able to get a few photos of my outfits. I wore a lot of dresses which were so comfy walking around the city. Have you been to NYC? Do you have any summer travel plans? Would love to hear!

Have a great week xo

  29. It's rare to find a professional you have some confidence in. In the present day world, no one really cares to show others the answer in this matter. How blessed I am that I really found such a wonderful web site. visa required for Turkey the Turkey eVisa, the visa fee will be higher depending on how quickly you want to get your application processed. The application will be processed as a first priority visa.
