HOW TO SHOP YOUR OWN CLOSET: SPRING EDITION

5.09.2022

At the beginning of a new season, I have a closet full of clothes, shoes and accessories but never have anything to wear and I don't think I'm alone on that. Now that the spring season is here, it's time to put away the winter wardrobe. As you're putting away the winter pieces and bringing out the spring pieces, it's the perfect time to do a wardrobe clean out. Make sure you love everything that you're planning to have in your wardrobe for spring. If it doesn't make you feel good, get rid of it. This is key in order to see what you're working with. Now that everything is in order, you can see what you have and start shopping your closet for outfits. I find it quite fun. Sometimes you forget about items that you have because it gets lost in the mix. You can literally mix and match all your items and make endless outfits. One huge thing I've been doing lately is mixing different colors together and it's a game changer. Everything I am wearing in this post is from my wardrobe. I've had each piece for years. I never thought about mixing this turquoise coat with pink trousers but I am so glad I did. I love how it looks together. Hope some of these tips help you shop your own closet!

Have a great week xo
