HOW I STYLED A LEOPARD FAUX FUR COAT FOR DINNER IN THE CITY

 Hello and Happy New Year! 

I can't believe how fast 2023 went and now here we are already in January 2024. I'm so excited for this year! Lots of personal goals as well as professional goals. I had plans for dinner in the city to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We had reservations at Contessa in Boston. Such a beautiful restaurant and the food is chefs kiss (a bit pricey though)! I love winter fashion as outerwear is my absolute favorite. I always center my looks around my coat. How gorgeous is this leopard faux fur coat! I've had it for a few years now and I love to pull it out on nights out. It's so glam! Since the coat is very much a statement, I kept everything else pretty basic with a black sweater dress and handbag. I was so torn with the shoes as it was very cold and icy in Boston and I didn't want to slip and fall because I knew we had to walk 10 minutes from the parking garage to the restaurant. Any type of heel was out of the question so I went with my combat boots. Comfy yet still stylish. If it wasn't icy out I would of paired the look with some heeled over the knee boots. Adding at least one statement coat to your winter wardrobe is something I highly recommend. If animal print isn't your thing you can add a nice pop of color. Winter can be so cold and honestly depressing so adding a little fun to your wardrobe doesn't hurt.
