I have used NYX cosmetics for years, mainly their NYX butter glosses. When we were in NYC a few weeks ago, I walked by a NYX display and these liquid suede cream lipsticks caught my eye. I decided why not let’s give it a try, so I purchased a pink shade called “Tea & Cookies” (um how cute is the name). Immediately when we got back to the hotel I had to try it out and dolls I was in love!!! It was so creamy, literally like slapping butter on your lips and can we talk about how vibrant and pigmented it was OMG!

So of course when I got back to Boston I had to go pick up a few more colors, “Kitten Heels” a beautiful red color and Pink Lust a bold hot pink/fuchsia color. I’m totally a pink lippie person so I love Tea & Cookie for a everyday use and Pink Lust for when I’m feeling a tad bit sassy. They’re so comfortable to wear and for those who prefer mattes that don’t set and dry out the lips completely, these will be your new fav! They are long lasting, pigmented, and for $6.99 you can’t go wrong! In comparison to Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks that are $20, I think I’ll stick to my affordable find.

You can find them directly on NYX’s website CLICK HERE, Ulta CLICK HERE, or at any of your local drugstores that sells NYX’s products.

Ohh did I mention they come in 24 shades, crazy! Some of the colors are a little out there for everyday wear but if you're a makeup artist you would love those fun colors!

Let me know if you end up trying these liquid suede cream lipsticks and your thoughts.

  1. I have "soft spoken" and I am IN LOVE. It's my every day lipstick but I have tried other colors and they don't look good on me! Ulta is tired of me going back and returning the other colors I get. :-(
But I highly suggest you try soft spoken! :-)
